Using our in house engineering CNC millers and lathes, combined with our magnet manufacturing we are able to create a wide range of bespoke assemblies. We have a wide range of experience using steel, aluminium, brass, bronze, titanium and others. Having the capability to produce our own magnetic jigs enhances our ability to produce assemblies of the highest quality in a short space of time.IATA / CAA magnet certification for export
Magnets are considered to be dangerous goods article for shipments outside the United Kingdom (International Destinations). The packaging requirements are mandated, and are strictly enforced. Cermag can assist on checking your product against the IATA dangerous goods regulations and provide a certificate for export and if they don’t conform we can offer recommendations so that they do. One of the areas we’ve seen growth in recent years is on site magnet testing. This is where we can visit to calibrate/certificate your magnets for BRC and other audits. BRC requires that“The type, location and strength of magnets shall be fully documented.
Documented procedures shall be in place for the inspection, cleaning, strength
testing and integrity checks. Records of all checks shall be maintained”
